Resident Rights

​

  1. The right to be treated with respect, personal dignity, and privacy.

  2. The right to be informed of available services.

  3. The right to end residency in the house at any time in accordance with policy, rules and procedures. 

  4. The right to not be discriminated against. All residents agree that Jesus Christ is their higher power. Home is for all woman only. Woman between the age of 18-65 will be considered. All applications will be reviewed and personal interviews will take place. This is to assure that the house residents are all a good fit. 

  5. The right to file grievance according to policy, rules and procedures. All grievance will be reviewed by house manager and owner. Meeting with all people involved will take place before action is implemented. UNLESS relapse or demonstrating dangerous behavior that may cause harm to anyone in the housed sobriety or recovery.

Resident Vehicles

​

All vehicle owners must provide valid driver license and proof of insurance. House owner/Manager/Board has the right to take the keys of the individual if they demonstrate relapse behavior or incompliance, such as: Lying, not going to meetings, using drugs or alcohol, staying out all night.

Residence 

​

All residence will sign off on the rules, liability release forms, and all other required forms in order to protect themselves and the owners of the property/home.  (see all forms included in this email)

Zero tolerance - Disrespect, sexual harassment, non-compliant to the rules will result to immediate discharge (see rules). All individual circumstances, relapses, non-compliant persons will be dealt with on an individual basis. House manager/Owner has the full right to ask you to leave the property if you are a threat in any way to another resident’s sobriety, health or safety.

Manager has the right to update these policies and procedures and or rules at any time as suggested by anyone involved with Serenity Place/Faith Driven Ministries followed by a written grievance.

RENT 

 

Grant Available $225 - $500 Monthly tenant pays $275 

​

Full Grant tenant pays $0.00

​

RENT - No Grants - $350 Monthly

​

Everyone in the house contributes $25 weekly toward household condiments/bread/milk/eggs/drinks and prepares one meal weekly to share which is included in the $25

*any financial difficulties are to be discussed with house owner ONLY. We will figure it out. Finances are private. I will do my best to help you find grants and scholarships as long as you are doing your best to help yourself as well.

First 30 days the rent will be dependent upon what the resident can afford or the family can support. All rent checks will be written to Faith Driven Ministries. Faith Driven Ministries will then pay the rent to the owner of Serenity Place. 

​

During the first 30days the Manager/Owner will search out available grants/scholarships to help pay the rent so that the resident in recovery can focus on their recovery and their future success plan required at Tiffany’s Serenity Place.

​

All residents agree to take suggestions and direction from spiritual mentors/sponsors (at least 1 year Sober). Most meetings will be all woman meetings during the day hours unless IOP is required during the day. All meetings, rides, contacts, social media WILL be monitored and approved by the owner/manager. Church is required at least 1x weekly. Drug tests will be given as often as the manager/owner requires. Zero tolerance for failed drug test. You will be asked to leave immediately if you are high on drugs or alcohol.
