PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Faith Driven Ministries, Inc sponsors Sober Living Single & Multi Family Residential Homes that offer at least a 6-month program consisting of free rent for those with no financial support for the first 30 days. We provide books and lead book studies, 12 Step Program, Spiritual Growth.
Individuals continuing their recovery will be given the opportunity to develop a personal love relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this relationship they can find freedom from the chains of addiction; forgiveness from their past, and hope for their future. We claim the promise of II Corinthians 5:17 for every resident: “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new creation.
At this phase in the program they will receive all the tools needed to land a decent job, pay rent, purchase a car, and become self-efficient. We assist in helping them move to a safe place and help provide what they will need to become good God loving, tax paying citizens once again.
The program consists of five components:

An atmosphere of love, attempting to mirror and model the love of God.

Book studies (bible based) with church members and Celebrate recovery/Carli Wojciak. Scripture memorization is suggested. Purpose driven Life, by Rick Warren; is required for each person to read with another person living at their home, or as a group. Daily bible reading and devotionals. Big Book daily reading.

Fellowship with residents who are on the same journey and who serve as accountability partners. Venturing out to AA/CR/NA/HA meetings in the Mahoning Valley. Attending 12 step meeting. Finding a sponsor/spiritual advisor.

Healthy choices as a lifestyle. Physical and nutritional habits are learned, as well as, learning to serve other residents by being a member of the Faith Driven Ministries Team.

Serving others through community service and work projects. Assigned tasks at the Faith Driven Ministries Serenity Place.

Phase I
Phase I is designed to teach residents principles for living life on life terms. The weekend is devoted to visiting churches throughout our area and beyond. During Phase I, other needs are assessed on an individual basis and preparation for implementation is made (i.e. Counseling, mentoring, GED, continuing education, career and job skills, IOP, After care).
Phase II

Phase II is designed to provide support, encouragement, love and resources so that those working a successful recovery program are off to a good start back on their own. For some, it may mean continuing to live and serve at Serenity Place.
Residents will write a “Life Plan” that consists of vision, purpose, mission and a plan that addresses these areas of their lives:
- Goals, planning and diligence
- Spiritual walk
- Relationships
- Employment
- Giving and serving
- Healthy living
