-
All individuals will be assigned their own alarm number after 30 days living at serenity place
-
Alarm must be set and door locked if you are the last person to leave the house.

Fire extinguishers are located next to the frig in the kitchen. Basement, bottom of steps. Upstairs, hallway between the rooms. If a fire is to break out the fire alarms will go off. You must not try to save the house. Call 911.

There is a fire escape ladder upstairs in the large room crawl space. First floor three exits. Basement has its own outdoor exit as well. Each person residing at the home is shown what to do and how to escape in the case they are trapped during a fire. Every year all fire alarms/carbon monoxide batteries are changed during the Spring ahead time change. In the case of Tornado warning residents will go down to basement and sit by the furthest wall to the left of the home. Signs are placed in all emergency shelters. Maintenance man is the owner of the home. He does a walk-through inspection quarterly and is available on demand. He is the owner and volunteers at this time.
Communicable Disease Policy it is the responsibility of every resident that lives at serenity home to care for themselves. If you are sick and you need medical attention you must go to urgent care to assure you do not have anything you can pass to others in the house. You must call Trumbull Health Department to check proper protocol when in doubt. We as a group decide if we feel that you have something threatening the health and safety of the others living in the home. If you miss work or any required recovery meetings you will be required to go to urgent care.
